Mid Atlantic R/C
Okay so I am thinking of picking up a R/C truck... I have found one by Traxxas that does 70+ mph
out of the box with a li-ion battery set up.

I was wondering who in the mid-atlantic has these things... we are all big kids here and I know there are others out there that have them or are wanting to do it. Oh and the fun part... you can mod the hell out of them. Question is gas or electric?
I have already contacted Tom at CT2 for a custom Airbrush Job.... LOL

I have 5 cars and trucks, 3 gas, 2 electric. i think. They've been collecting dust for yrs. lol. Either are just as fun honestly. Im not up to par on the new stuff. All mine are really old.
I used to be in R/C, well still am, but very rarely do I do anything anymore.
Nitro or Electric is like asking Coca-Cola or Pepsi.
Both have advantages and disadvantages, but in my own experience, electric is a little less hassle to maintain. You can have a blast in both nitro or electric.
I suggest getting one of each and see which one you like better. It is very subjective, so it is up to the user.
Traxxas has awesome stuff, and I have had several products from them. Very reliable and they have awesome customer service.
Don't cheap out and go with a no-name brand, stick with the high-brands.
HPI, Tamiya, Team Losi, Traxxas, Team Associated, and Yokomo are top-quality brands.
If you have any questions, feel free to p/m or ask on this thread.

We should have an R/C car/truck meet and run em when the weather gets better.
