car not running well after oil change
got my oil changed yeaturfay-usually after i get an oil change,my car seems to run a little smoother-but instead it dosent seem to run well at all!It seems very hesitant, and even idles rougher.I got a wild idea to check my oil..the oil comes up just past the bend..so i think i checked it 5x in a row, just cause i couldnt belive what i was seeing..is there a way to check it wrong
..dunno what to do yet-really dont want to drive it if its way over..think i need to make a phone call.

Oops I thought it was low not high. I misread.
If they put too much drain some out and you have a free oil change? I doubt it has done anything if you haven't driven on it for an extended period of time.

u better be careful with dealers, my friend had a dealer change the oil on his sti, and they put used oil in it or sumthin and the motor ended up seizing. and now he's on his 3rd motor and the dealer continues to make up excuses and today to top it all off a mechanic hit his car with another car and now its all f'd up, he got a cursed sti limited.
not sayin this happened to you, but its always a possibility for it to happen, people make mistakes. Good luck i hope its nothin serious.

1 possibility: while doing the o. change, the "technician" could've unplugged
some electrical component (spark plug wire, etc.) Although a little extra oil
won't do harm, whenever possible, get some out with one of those "sucking"
pumps. Better yet, take it to the Dealer for correction of the miss.
