thermometer? lol...keep the fender hot to the touch at all times and your good to go. I never cracked paint. Last guy came to me with tires rubbing bad and it cracked more, but we painted the inside and all is good. ive never cracked paint that wasnt damaged though.
My tires would be sliced to bits if you didn't do mine (needless to say, no cracking whatsoever). I actually got a inadvertant "compliment" the other day. Some guy thought I had a wide body kit. I guess the combo of me being slammed on my wheels and +17 offsets makes it seem that way to some. That and I'm only running -1.6 degrees of camber.
Now that I have spacers in the front I can honestly say I'm content with the way it looks.
Yea my paint cracked pretty bad when I had mine done. So just be carefull, make shure they use a heat gun, and take there time.
Dave left mine baking for a little while haha. Mine were rolled perfectly, he said it was his best work. Perfect fold over, and no cracking. Give him a call if you want OP, I'm sure he'll give you a quote.
i was just quoted 300. they ssaid they would cut most of it out and just roll the last little bit.
Sounds like over kill. Although I would recommend rolling over cutting. If you're going to pay someone to do this, have your fenders either rolled or cut. Not both.
