I will be a father FTW!
So....with the fact that my dad was, is, and will be absolete in my life because he is a dead beat. I plan to dedicate my life to my child girl or boy...
with those thoughts in mind... I am at a cross roads and polling my MidA brothers and sisters... because the MidA owns me (lol) and they knows me...
Options list include:
1. Supercharge the G (Stillen Stage 3) I dont need, want, or care for anything else. Even if it was 10RWHP, the sound alone I am willing to pay for it. I can install it myself with the aid of beers, Tengai, superG, halfazz, and myself so the cost of the kit and beer and pizza is the only cost thus far.

2. Fix my 1978 CJ5 Jeep...it needs close to 10K to get it to the show quality level of all the parts I have, but this jeep has been in family for almost 15 years so its not going anywhere. But it cost me money each month for a huge storage lot.

3. Buy the rims that I always wanted for my ride. 20" Axis Matrix and take a much needed vacation...maybe another cruise.

4. Buy the APR WideBody kit (RICER SPOILER NOT INCLUDED!) and leave the performance as is...would need new rims....but then I could only afford one piece cheezy joints, problably heavy chrome deep dish wheels for like an SUV or some shizzil.

I didnt do a poll because I have done those before and you get a bunch of non-MidA yahoos providing input that is not warrented or asked for. MidA knows me, my lifestyle, and what I am about..... soooo......?

Id do the rims and be done and enjoy the car OR fix the Jeep thats been in the family. The Stillen is a fun unit, but why even reduce reliability and probable cost to fix/replace a block with a child on the way? Plus chances of you having issues with any FI kit are greater due to the fact you drive like your running from cops all the time! LOL
I 100% would not do the widebody kit, the costs of good body work, fitment and the RIGHT rims is huge. Without the classy huge rims its not worth the look IMO.
Congrats on the news...

+1 on not going widebody its not going to be as drivable anymore and we all know how you like to beat the **** out of your car!

VERY NCIE input fellas. yeah I do beat on that thing a bit. But Hey I walk to work now so its been sitting for two weeks. What Albeezie said makes sense. with a little one on the way...reliability is more important now than ever before, plus even if I get the wide body kit on and looking good with the wheels, once someone hits me...that’s serious downtime too..
see I knew I could count on you all.
Yeah I am scared and excited to be a dad. I may have to slow down for once in my life...lol ohhh wait, I do with the wife in the car...lol. But she is going to stop working so the income is left up to me. Sooo I guess I should NOT keep trying to drive slidewayz through every intersection, especially like days like today..lol.
Thanks for the congrast Alberto!
MidA: keep the input coming, this was good stuff! Much appreciated!

Congrats on the news Cory!
If I were you, I'd look at the Jeep as a liability, since it is costing you extra to keep it somewhere else. Either bite the bullet, and finish it, or sell it.
I agree with Berto on the supercharger and wide-body... you enjoy driving your car (and realllllly driving the $hit out of it) If the supercharger causes the motor to go, or you F* up the wide body, there are allot of extra costs that, once baby arrives, you will have to swing.
so.. fix the jeep.. or new wheels.

The only options I would consider would be the jeep and the wheels for you. I would say the jeep since your keeping it anyways but seems like a lot of money to fix up. But your wheels look good on your car as is. I would just fix the jeep or go on a nice vacation before the kid is born.

congrats on the baby! From a females point of view I would say do the wheels and the vacation. You two wont get another vacation alone for a very long time most likely and could probably use the down time before the chaos

I'd say do the rims, because like everyone else has said FI and/or widebody will bring their own issues. And whether or not you finish the Jeep its costing you... it looks like an awesome project, but if you finish it what will you do with it? And you will still have to keep it somewhere, so it won't ever stop being a drain on your funds.
So what would I do in your situation? Buy the wheels, go someplace really exotic (which is my plan for when we eventually have kids, just I probably won't be buying any car parts then haha)
And congrats man! Thats gotta be a great feeling
CONGRATS!
Vacation bro. Get away now while u still can before the little one comes. Once he/she arrives both of your lives will change significantly. And maybe finish the jeep and have something to tool around in with the little one. The car is good as-is imo.
1) Nice vacation with u and the misses (one last good one before the family begins) Family and significant others first.
2) Rims/jeep (toss up to me b/c both are pretty hot) Although the jeep could wait for a little father-son/daughter bonding time and work on it together.
3)Supercharger
4) Body kit (only 4 b/c it's on the list, otherwise not even an option imo)
