Post Exhaust opinions...need some advice.

Okay...i'm debating about which exhaust i want to buy. i'm trying to stay within a certain budget so as of right now my options are...

Invidia N1 ...RSR GT2...Apex N1...and Topspeed N1.

i can't find any websites that carry the Topspeed N1 exhaust except for their website. I've found video clips on all of them.

So...if you HAD TO CHOOSE one of the four...which one would it be and why?
Thanks in advance.

The invidia n1 & topspeed knock off are def loud, if thats what your looking for. RS-R is invidia's parent company, it's identical too.

Sexxxy.... no so much.

I think something like a used nismo or injen ses would be the way to go. Everyone has their favorites when it comes to exhaust though, so expect alot of different sugestions.

I did my research before getting exhaust and imo the topspeed is the BEST sounding by far. Just got her installed a few weeks ago.The look of it isnt the best but i dont think alot of exhausts look right on z's. This exhaust is extremely loud and sets off car alarms with ease. I deffinitely recommend it though. as far as buying it check out some authorized sellers with good feedback on ebay and it shouldnt be too hard to find. peace

i personally like the invidia N1 sound out of those options. but maybe look into single exhausts. they have distinct sounds.

Go with a single they sound amazing! Or you can search the boards and find a good deal on a used true dual(Fast Intentions, Hks, Injen,), or save a little more and buy a new one. But I definately recomend going to a couple of meets and hearing in person, sound clips are ok but realy do no justice for the true sound of desired exhausts in your bag of options.

You can use youtube and get sound clips of all the exhausts listed above and get an idea of how they sound. Just make sure you have some nice speakers with a good subwoofer when you're comparing the sound clips. I made a mistake and listened to the Injen Track version on youtube with my laptop built in speakers (no subwoofer obviously). Got the exhaust installed and everything and now the drone is killing my brain cell.

hmmm...thanks for all the input everybody. decisions. decisions. I definately want a dual exhaust though. Nothing against singles but i love the look of the duals in the back. also...i think my rear lip would look strange with a single exhaust. i wanted to stay within the $500-900 range (shipped). Don't get me wrong...i COULD spend the extra money but i also have "other" things to buy for the Z.

most single pipe to dual can exhausts rasp ALOT at 3K a quick search will verify that. The 3" single seems to be the new trend for it's great sound easy install.

BTW I am biased I have a 3" single...

I have a ? for all the Z owners... No offense to any of yalls money spending habits...but most of the kits i have seen are going for 1,000 plus bucks. I got a true dual kit custom done exhaust with magnaflow mufflers and two 18in. resonators everything welded on and I used the Factory tips to keep cop attraction down. Everything was done and put on for 500 bucks. I've never had a problem with it and sounds amazing! Just wondering...about cost effectiveness here...get the same performance at a cheaper price and still great quality you know! Anyone interested in price quotes you can call the guy i use

Sounds like my rockville meineke exhaust job back in the day -- bring the guy an ebay canister and he'd weld you up a cat back system in 30 minutes - except he'd only charge 50 bucks, not 500. Thats what all the ricers did back in the day.

If it was me I'd rather pick up an X02 and call it a day.

You could get a real Magnaflow TD system used for like 400 bucks
