i know the need to get more physical an start makin philly rush passes an make mistakes, imo

 

the refs were calling everything at the end of the game in caps favor except for the penalty shot,even the refs knew it. turnovers are killing the caps bad and philly is playing pretty agressive through all 3 periods. Caps just need to stop being so sloppy with the puck, there scoring goals then giving them right back.

yea true.. philly is known for hitting tho...

but they are slowly getting reckless with it.... caps being a younger smaller team really dont have those grinders that are needed int eh playoffs.... backstrom is getting owned right now.. i expected so much more from him and ovie... green is playing awesome but the Offense really needs to start forechecking more.

they look like there still in the regular season and all the other teams right now are playing like playoff teams... its almost like they dont deserve to be in there how there playing.

just serviced a customers car and when i get in the car to bring it in, he had a Backstrom jersey sittin in the pass seat. i have a good feeling about tonight.

i think Ovechkin will play hockey tonight instead of lalligagging around liek last game.

 

TBH I'm just happy to see them in the playoffs. Let's not forget at the halfway point we were either the worst or tied for the worst team in hockey I think.

This is a team who's stars are still very young and don't have much playoff experience. Just getting into the playoffs was more than what was expected of them this year. Hopefully ovie, semin, backstrom and kozlov will get more physical in the offensive zone tonight. They also need to screen Biron more like the flyers are doing to Huet.

With all that being said I also have a good feeling tonight like they are gonna come out and quiet those obnoxioius Philly fans down!!!!
