Well done Sir, from what I can see/hear its very clean and quick with no rev limiter hitting due to a slow clutch foot.

so you never let go of the gas and u just blip the clutch? its called WOT Shifting( Wide Open Throttle Shifting)I used to do that in my old SRT-4 all the time. ITs good if you know how to do it really fast, but not recommended for your tranny.

SAY goodbye to your clutch, I used to do that whille racing and now mine is horrible. I would not do it anymore if I was you. Even if you barely put the clutch in it still is bad for it.

It was the stock clutch, I got the car with 9k miles and at about 30k it started slipping under WOT. I haven't shifted like this in a while and it has gotten a lot better. It would only slip going in to third when I shifted flat footed. I still shift hard just not like that. I wanted to tell you before your in the same situation as me.

Me and a friend were talkin' about this the other day. He tried to convince me that it wasn't hurting anything at all to shift like this, but it's obvious that's NOT good for the clutch at all. Honestly, does it really make that much of a difference as opposed to just getting quicker with your shifts and shifting hard? If it does, how so?

I did this NA and even several 7000rpm launches on a stocker and when pulled out at 58K miles it was in good shape. More power = harder on everything, at NA levels its not bad when done correctly!

um the differnce is slight like if your running a 14.0 you could take it down to 13.998 or something like that-now with an upgraded clutch the differnce could be a little better.
honestly-i put abot 50+k on my celica clutch doing this.and it never failed me(clutch didnt, but rod bearing did,but that also reved to just shy of 9k)I do not expect that I'll need a clutch before I decide to upgrade, which i want to!(jwt clutch and lightweight flywheel ftw)That will allow me to shift even faster!

No newbish-ness at all, it is "power shifting"

if you like shifting and not letting off the gas you should have got an automatic (like me, for the haters), drive correctly
