The mental capacity of your posts never cease to amaze me

You pay to play, if your tranny can handle it, given your set-up power levels and budget, powershifting is a faster way to shift-when RACING. It keeps momentum up during shifts and on turbo cars keeps them in boost. But you wouldnt know you just hit the gas.

WOW! I never knew that before... how many trans' have you destroyed that way again. LOL @ my mental capacity. I too have paid to play my friend, at the expense of a complete new engine so I too have felt the pain of digging deep into my wallet and letting other plans slip away. Constantly calling me out is getting old too.

I have destroyed one tranny RACING my car, if you knew anything you would know people who push there cars break them. Making a statement such as "drive correctly" especially coming from a guy who owns an auto is simply retarded. If its in my budget to break $hit and run times its my business. Making blanket comments like you do is getting older than me replying to your BS

No offense, but didn't you seize your engine because you ran over a large puddle and your CAI soaked up the water. I'm not sure that really fits the phrase "pay to play".

Indeed I did, and I openly admitted it, I also had to pay for the engine.... so if I wanted to play again I had to pay. I had everything ready for a build and was saving money for a FI kit, the money went to an engine and labor instead. It really sucks but it is what it is.

I could never -not that im against it totally,it is nice for a down-town traffic nightmare,or time trials-But im not building her to just go straight. i didnt get this car intending to baby it.I knew that this post would get this kind of effect-i've been driving my cars like this for a long time-and trust me I hear it from friends, a lot-its not for everyone and if you have standard and attempt this-you better be ready-its not easy, and requires skill, and skill takes time or yes,you will break it and its not because the car has a stock clutch.

I have been running my car this way at the drag strip since i got it.. Its one of the reasons my times have improved. Yes, it will cause ware on your tranny IF DONE INCORRECTLY...

As Alberto has said, it keeps moment going insted of your car dropping back between shifts. If you have ever raced someone on the street ( Not that i would ) You can notice each time they change gears if they are slow at shifting and the cars are the same power level... You will win every time..

Alberto has many videos out there that shows how he races it, you dont see the car drop back... No momentum loss.

Later
Todd
