Im just wondering if earlier model 350Zs sit lower than later ones? I have an 03 Touring model and i feel like mine sits a bit lower than other late model stock Zs. My suspension is still stock and the shocks are still good. Just a curiosity question. I don't know if it's in my head or if it's true.

Maybe because the suspension is fully settled.

I have an 03 model w/ stock suspension and i swear to darn mine sits lower than most, if not all of the other Z's with stock suspension.

 

well...i have aftermarket 19s though.

this has been discussed before in other section of the forum. Yes the 03 does sit lower than the new years.

so if it's true...how would installing lowering springs affect the overall suspension? so an 03 lowered with stechs would sit lower than an 06 with stechs? i'm just curious as to what it is that makes them sit lower. is it the the springs on an 03? the overall suspension setup? the frame? i dunno. I plan on lowering my Z. My friend with an 05 just installed stechs and he's sitting how i sit now stock. i was wondering if installing stechs on mine would make a noticeable difference. i'm actually thinking about purchasing some Tein BASICS now though.
