I agree with Sinan, I was very disappointed with the day and somewhat embarrassed till he went. I thought I had a bum motor or something. Either other people have been setting their dynos to read high or something else is up. I know the shop owner of extreme and he's a stand up guy, can't see him trying to setup anyone for failure. all I know is what people have been posting for stock results and both of us hit well below that..... I dunno

all I know is I want answers. I was expecting to hit in the 280's and got 255.

Any graphs we can see?

Dyno's cannot be arbitrarily set to read high. The factors that need to be taken into account are the "correction" (done by the tuner) and atmospheric changes/variable (temp, altitude, air density, etc).

I've only seen numbers vary that greatly on 1) FI cars and 2) when corrections are made.

Your higher numbers are uncorrected and the lower numbers are SAE. Now normally uncorrected vs SAE wont vary that much on the same dyno but given the different dynos and different CF explains the difference primarily. I had like 292 uncorrected and got all happy till they corrected the numbers, lol.

least you didn't get a 160whp pull in 3rd gear. I did 4 pulls in total, two in 4th, one in 3rd, and one in 5th. the 5th gear was the pull was the highest and the 3rd gear was the lowest.

not necessarily. conditions, the difference in our exhausts and the dyno's themselves could account for the 25hp difference. and from the 07 dyno's I have seen so far, 283 has just been on the upper end of the spectrum so I dont think yours is that low. My thoughts are that trap speeds and 1/4 mile times are much better indicators than a dyno. If you can consistently trap 105 or higher I would say your right there with most of the other HRs.

He was with me when we were trying to hook up my car without much success..

im down to do that. im not happy till i see that number haha. i actually pmed dave at function tuned about dynoing there. when he replies, ill ask about a group dyno. i want to do it there because i want to get a third shops number.
if there is any other shop that you would like to dyno at, let me know (preferably closer than F:T lol) . i dont know of any other dynos around here.
