I got a promotion recently to management and besides the few hectic days that come every now and then I get alot of down time at work where all my duties are done. During this time it of course gets boring surfing the same old websites so tell me some of your best worksafe time killers. Games, jokes, entertainment, etc. I need some stuff to do other than getting paid to be bored!!!

What is this boring management job you speak of.

 

I work at T Rowe Price in the 401k department. Its really not boring all the time just when there is nothing to do in the evenings. I actually love the job but recently have had alot of downtime.

Cool thats good to know. My best freind just started working at Carmax and was trying to get me to work there with him part time but I have worked 2 or 3 jobs at a time since college so its a nice change to just relax and put in about 40-45hrs and be done with it.

Yeh we just finished our busy season so we should be pretty slow until our next statement season. Primarily people are just freaked out because the market sucks *****.

 

The thing that i did not like about selling cars was the paycheck from month to month. One month i could sell alot of cars and the next a few. I could not depend on a set paycheck. And selling Honda's as you know, there is not much profit over cost in one of those.
