I know I only know a few of you since I am new to VA(via cali) but my wife is a first year med student at vcu so we moved out here for school and I brought one of my Z's out here. Anyways she is trying to participate in a marathon to help raise money to find the cures for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. I am not expecting anyone to help out but I figured maybe if anyone lost someone to this they might be interested, I dont expect anyone to donate but anything would be cool.
Here is her statement for any interested....
I am raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) as a participant in their Team In Training program and I'm asking you to help by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. I will be running in the Rock N Roll Half Marathon on August 31, 2008 in memory of my grandfather who lost his battle with lymphoma in July 2006.
