I'm driving down early Thursday around 5 a.m. Although I'm driving to the Airstrip Races first.

i would love to roll 5-20 deep I think it would be cool. I have never been but this seems to be the event to do on the east coast.

Kind of like Waterfest for VW/Audi guys (which I used to be)

I may go, I'm from TN originally. its about 2.5 hours from parents house but we have a condo there about 45 min away. stupid military, I'll post if I'm able to head down. Bert, you going down? heard your z was back up?

Basically, we're leaving the Chesapeake House Rest Stop in MD at 5:30 am and planning to hit Roanoke, VA around noon or so. We're going to take an extended break at the Valley View Mall for gas, lunch and maybe a quick nap. This will give us a chance to meet up with anybody else coming down 81, and still get to Fontana around 7.

 

I guess I'll see you guys at fontana. The airstrip races start at 2 pm. So I won't be able to do a stopping on the way.

It would defn. be cool to ride back with you guys.

 

Yeah, that sounds like a plan. There's just no way we can hit the airstrip race on Thursday unless we came down the day before.
