It's not just a garage thing. We grab food right after.

You should come out when I go to a few HPDE's this year. I will be going to Road Atlanta, VIR, and Summit Point.

Sounds fun! Perhaps I will do that if the money allows.

HPDE are cheap! If you got 50k for a car, you got $230 for a day's worth of fun!

Last season, I struggled to get through an entire session without brake fade. I guess 3600lbs, baby Brembos, and 2.5" brake ducts just won't cut it. Coming back this season with bigger brakes, larger brake ducts, seats, shaved tires, and more confidence!

I wish this car was only 50k! The expensive part isn't paying for the HPDE, it's 5 grand for new rotors and brake pads.

Christ! Expensive cars are even more expensive to maintain. Are they carbon ceramic? Otherwise, those Italians got you good! Cheap Taiwanese Iron ftw! I believe stoptech replacement rotors are $260?

Everything is unrealistically expensive for the GT-R. The dealer charges 8 grand for a brake job - rotors and pads. I think some of the cheapest rotors I have found were 700-1000 each.

It has been coined "the gtr tax" lol

I take it to Dave. He used to work for AAM and is in the process of opening his own shop, Baker Performance, in Gaithersburg I believe. Very knowledgeable and smart guy. I would recommend him for sure.

All the GT-R guys are telling me to go with Geico. If they can get me to like 150 a month I might keep it.
