KManZ:

Yea that was awesome. Wish I knew you worked at that dealership earlier. Oh well, too late now, and I don't care, I'm enjoying my car too much :-)

I see Zs every now and then while driving, but see em daily at work (Rosenthal Tysons Corner). If anyone knows anyone who needs a Z.. hey, come on in. Ask for Matt.
Heh, you've likely seen my car there while it's been having warranty work done to it. I'll likely be in there later this week to have my front tires replace... speaking of which, I should probably call Rob now...

Drew you don't commute through/live in Burke do you? I've seen a blue Z around there a few times, near Braddock....

qcrobinson-

Hey, it might have been me. I'm actually living in DC right now for school, but otherwise I'm always around Springfield, VA. Like every weekend, so you might have seen me. But I do know I've seen another DB around Springfield, so maybe it was him?
There's also a DB parked right on Braddock, right before Backlick Rd, simply because it was the first Z I saw in the area last year, every day as I commuted to GMU. It was lovely to see every morning, and just as lovely to see as I left

Default ANyone?

I saw this sweet looking PPW Z on 495 heading towards the Tysons Corner area last night. I believe the license plate read "lazzer". I was the person watching your car drooling from the WRX STi. I just ordered a PPW one, so i really enjoyed watching what my car would look like in action at night. I really liked the rims on that car too.. they looked like 20's or could have been 19's. Just wonderin if anyone from this forum is the owner of that car. Please reply, i wanna know what size and type your rims are.

Default Z Sighting Northern VA

How about three silver coupes, two CS and one LA (mine), Friday night (9/26) in the same parking lot (9pm, Romano's Macaroni Grille - Kingstowne. Hard to believe, but it's the truth.

Geh.. Rosenthal Sets the Standard for Markups in the Area...

At least I got to see my first Z there last Sept... a demo model with a 10k markup!

I hear nice things about the service department, but after the crappy way they treated me there.. no way I'd buy anything there.

They made me and my wife wait for 45 minutes while they had a sales meeting (during normal business hours!) and would not talk to us. We eventually just walked away.

Too bad.. I bought a Z the next day at another dealer.

The reason Rosenthal has markups is because people pay them. I got mine at MSRP though (they initially wanted $3000 extra when I ordered the car on 01/17/02).

Drew703 -- could have been! I've seen a blue on several occasions in that area. We probably bling the same streets.

Btw, speaking of dealerships -- avoid Passport Nissan of Alexandria. Scum.

I see like 10 350Z's everyday.

In my 5 mile drive home from work this morning I saw a silver and blue one pull out right next to each other, and they weren't together. I was in my G35C. They are all over the place. Saw a red one with a bra on later in the day.

Any my350z'ers here work at SRA in Fair Lakes?

I see a CS, touring probably, with the front bra parked at the side of the building.

Solrac,

I think their after-sales service sucks. They f'ed up on my trade-in, took so long to pay for it, it began to go into collections, became big clusterf*. Plates took 2 months, even when they got em they misplaced em under my middle name. A bunch of little stuff like that: service guys wouldn't call back, took them about a month to get an owner's manual to me, etc, etc. Salesman says he'll take care of me then does nothing...just all around incompetence. My first time buying a car from a dealership so I didn't know what to expect, but I'm pretty unhappy about them and have let NNA know.

They are friendly guys mostly. Maybe my experience is a one-time deal.

Yeah I see a fair amount of Zs in the area but I see more corvettes, bmws, and boxters.

I hope the same doesnt happen to me.. I just ordered a 2004 touring model from there last sunday... (finally got my order put in) I hope im not going to get jipped at any time either with the purchase or when i have maintenance done. I think it may be too late to take my deposit back and change dealerships..

Nah I don't you'd have to go that far. They'll get you the car, as long as you got your own financing, you're good.

Thumbs up

qcrobinson: I have the DB Z in the Burke area.. my stomping grounds so to speak.

Anyhow, I started working at Rosenthal in July. The only major markup is that on the Roadster... pretty daunting. Lost more than one deal over it. Theres more play to the price now than there was before the Roadster though...

Kmanz -- hehe cool, I'll look out for you. This is the Rosenthal Nissan on Leesburg pike? Out of curiosity, how open is the service dept about doing aftermarket mods?

I saw a LS inside the parking garage at Best Buy in Arlington today. It was HOT...super clean...and of course I didn't have my Z out at the time. It made me want to go home and drive her!

Do you mean liquid aluminum or chrome silver, couldn't tell from the LS abbreviation.
