'03 DB Performance

 

Monday, October 6, Dulles Toll Rd... Redline Z with front grille, solitary Z emblem on trunk lid.. crusied for a bit on the Toll Rd. I had the DB "Fairlady Z". Who was it???

 

It is no big deal to see them anymore. It was really cool about a year ago when I first got mine. You could go a couple of weeks and not see another. I see at least two everyday.

 

Mmm I saw my 2nd roadster today! It around 12:30pm, parked in some shopping center (dont know the name of it) but it's right off backlick rd, near springfield VA.

Silverstone roadster, I took a pic (I just always carry my digital camera around ) Looked great!

So I'm stuck on 495 traffic yesterday morning (everyone in the state must have been on the highway yesterday heading to those damn 50-90% off sales at malls) and so there nothing but stop and go traffic the whole way. I have the windows about halfway down, and just as I was considering pulling on the shoulder I notice another DB Z two lanes to my right. There's an 18-wheeler moving just as slow, so I lose sight of the Z for a few seconds, then can see it again. I try and merge over to say hi or wave, but traffic was nuts though! I finally manage to get over a lane, and we're right across from each other. I roll the window down and finally get a good look at the two people inside...what happened next was this



No joke, I saw two GORGEOUS females inside! Looked about both were early-mid twenties, SUPER cute! I think they started laughing immediately cause my face really did look like that! They both waved, I waved back but then the damn truck kept getting in the way. Finally I realized the two or three cars behind me were honking like crazy, I was almost stopping traffic even more just by trying to see them again, so finally I had to drive away

Sorry I know there are probly lota stories like this, but man it was definitely my first encounter with Z + beautiful female driver + passenger. It was a good start to the day

Haven't updated this post in awhile i've seen alot of Z's around the area....just saw on today in Falls Church outside of the Rite Aid....talked to the guy about it....u know the basic chit chat about the Z (how do u like it?) u know the basics...anywayz told hi about my350z.com and he was defiantey game so i dunno whi knows he might show up....

 

Pretty funny. I'm the guy from the Rite Aid. I was aware of the site for a while, but I haven't looked into the Virginia - Z presence... Didn't remember your username, except that it ended in 33.

Totally off topic, any chance you know anyone with the Sony WX-7700? Trying to get a look at one in person before I shell out the cash. Some decent pics at the bottom.

I'll add my late sighting to this. Though I've seen many in the area, I spotted a SB z with some sort of body kit (could have just been the aero package, but I don't know what that looks like) and Nismo wing going down 66 West this afternoon. We both got off at the 50 West exit - with me in my A4 a few casuals behind him. Pretty good looking car. I think he turned into a gas station and I continued on to Blue Ridge. Tags read "A350ZYA"
