Z Sightings Thread - Virginia

 

I saw another Daytona Blue Z turning onto Rolling Rd from Old Keene Mill Rd in springfield yesterday afternoon. He honked, but I just noticed him last min, but I still felt the connection! LoL

Around 8:30pm tonite, well earlier tonite that is, I saw a CS right near Bradlee Shopping Center, off King St in Alexandria. I flashed my lights, and he honked back. It looked real nice too
I'm pretty sure it had 30-day tags on it too, anyone new to the board here with CS from VA?? Hehe

Seen mine in woodbridge.

 

I just saw Lemans Sunset a few min before 4:00pm, on 495 going to the bridge, right past the 95-south exit. It looked NICE! Only the 2nd LS I've seen in person!

Saw a lovely PPW Z tonight around 10pm on Duke St, in Alexandria. It had xenons, otherwise I couldnt really tell what model it was. I flashed my lights at the driver, but didn't respond. Looked like he was in a hurry though!

Damn Im like the only one spotting Z's in VA! Er at least the only one posting them up, I know there are more sightings out there, lol

This was a funny one tonite though! I was leaving work around 10pm and I saw a CS going in the opposite direction as I was. I flashed and honked, but no response. Then about 5 min, I look behind me, and see xenons in my rear! It turns out to be the same CS i saw going the other way a few min before! He pulls up, and the passenger leans waay out the window and gives me a big thumbs up and yells "WHOOOO!" as he flies past! It was so funny, i was rolling. The funny thing was though, I was dropping a co-worker off at the metro, and she looked at me like I was nuts...she said "do you know who that is?" I said nope, just another Z owner. It got very silent after that, except for my laughing

I work at Ft. Belvoir and ive seen two others besides mine. A Brickyard track and a Red touring.

Ive seen one other CS on Rt 1 going to work one day as well..

I was driving home from Herb Gordon Nissan in Silver Spring Maryland this afternoon and going down 495 when I saw a Daytona Blue Z in my side view, he drove by on my left and waved, as did I. Then two cars behind him came a Super Black Z (like mine), I didn't notice him till he honked, so after that I thought I'd switch lanes and join them.

At one point us three were in a single file line, and when the highway opened up just a tad bit, we were side by side for a few seconds. Then we sped around rush hour at 75-80 and the other Super Black Z ended up taking the Annandale exit, and the Daytona Blue took the Braddock Road West exit with me, although I turned left on Burke Lake Rd and he kept going on.

Fun times :-) Some baby blue civic or Corolla type S was being a dick though trying to weave through us. I don't think any of us paid his unworthy car any attention although he came VERY close to hitting me! Stupid kids....well I am 19, but I have never and will never do something that inappropriate.

 

I have one seen 1 Z since I have had mine which is 2 weeks tomorrow. The plate was MA03350Z, older guy driving.
Guess I should be glad I havent seen that many, more attention for mine : )

 

I saw a brand new Brickyard (30day tags too) this evening around 7pm, going down Duke St, in Alexandria. I tried to catch up to him (or her ) to say hi, but turned into a parking lot before I could pass by. I didnt wana follow him into the lot, that might have been too far..haha

Redline convertable Z in McLean, VA off of Chainbridge Road with the top down on Saturday. Very nice.

 

I spotted about 9 of them at Rockwood Park in Richmond on Saturday!!!

Saw 2 Z LS and CS back-to-back this afternoon on Rt. 7 heading west. I was heading east to exit to 395 in a Brick.

 

At school here there are a few Z's. Only one or two students with them. I've seen a lemans, DB track, black performance, silver enthusiast. I think thats it

 

I see a PP Enthusiast / Base almost every day parked on either Virginia Ave or 23rd St.

I also had a CS one honk at me on Braddock Rd. in rush hour traffic this week with the plates ZEEEEE.

Z's are all over the place in the DC area... they're like flies on poop... but then again, I've also had my car for over a year, so the novelty has worn off.

I see new ones every day here in NoVA.. not much point of making a stink about it anymore.. it used to be just seeing Zs... now they are so common its about seeing your EXACT model.

I've seen at least 3 other SB Tourings around me.. including 'close to home' being at work and at the gym!

I usually don't go more then a day or two without seeing at least one.

 

Saw a Z on Conduit Rd in Colonial Heights about 6:00 pm this evening, plates were FLY Z33.

I see Z's but it appears they are not registered here.....

I was the DB that took the Braddock exit! That was pretty tight when all us were in line cruising...

I see Zs every now and then while driving, but see em daily at work (Rosenthal Tysons Corner). If anyone knows anyone who needs a Z.. hey, come on in. Ask for Matt.
