Default I want to learn and improve my driving, driving school suggestions?

Hey guys, I am a fellow enthusiast and I am very interested in getting on the track, but before I do any of that type of stuff I want to be ready, and I know all types of driving schools will teach you all different types of driving etc..

I was wondering if anyone here has been taking any driving lessons and if so where?

Improve the driver, then the car.

Thanks again guys!

Sorry to sound too obvious, but I bet they have driving school at the actual tracks.

My old agency sent me to Bill Scott Raceway out near winchester Virginia. They offered numerous driving schools at the time. Might want to do a search and see what you find. My course was a week long and it was so much fun. You push the cars to the limit and go off the track, you did bootlegs, j-turns and other manuevers. I took this course about 4 years ago so I dont know what they offer anymore, but it is worth a check.

Summit Point also has a program called "friday at the track" or something like that where you get in car and class instructions on performance driving. You should check their website. I did one of their hyperdrives and the instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful.

+1 I just checked their website and the track I was talking about is the same one. I knew it by BSR. I forgot the address b/c it was years since I have been there.

Sears has a pretty good one and you get a cool sign on top of your car. I'M JUST KIDDING!

Thanks guys, I'm going to check them out. If you have any more suggestions that'd be great.
