Do any of you Mid-A'ers have any interest in attending the Redline Time-Attack at Summitpoint this weekend?

Looks like me and a few others from the Bel Air area will be going. We will be meeting at Agile Auto Performance around 9am Sunday morning, its roughly a 2-hr drive (+/- 30mins depending on convoy speed).

From Agile expect to drive with mostly Subarus (2-4), my G35, a 350Z, RX-8, Miata, and maybe one other 350Z and G35X.

I went last year and it was a blast. I know some of the Mid-A-240sx guys went last year as well. You get some up close up car/pit/track action and a few vendors to check out as well (i think there is even a drift demo in the middle of the day).

Just a few awhile

 

it was great seeing some of the cars on the track, dont think i met any of you though...the nismo-Z's looked really sweet tearing it up. you could really see the OEM-aero helping it coming over the hill before the banked turn, they stayed pretty flat. other cars looked more like skipping rocks over the water.

took tons of photos and some vids, but give me time, its a lot.

I didn't stick around long due to all the track stoppages. I got about 10 minutes worth of racing, got frustrated with the whole event and left :\

Redline has teamed with Mazda and are holding another time attack on Sept 13-14th at the new NJ Motorsports Park with a $10,000 payout to the fastest unlimited class car. $3,000+ to the fastest modified car.
