Default Where to take your Z to for paint

Looks like there is a thread that gives choices for shops that deal with tuning the Z/G but however theres not a thread for paint shops in the Mid - A that folks take their cars.

So post em up.

1.) A&R Body Shop out in Sterling, VA (Dulles area)
My review- they redid my other car from widebody back to stock and I got a new paint job on it. The owner is a great guy just overloaded with work. The only complaint I have is that when I went to go pick it up, the car wasn't ready, they were still trying to piece it together, and had to buff out the car still so I ended up spending a full day waiting for it to get done. Flawless repair work, so if I get my Z damaged I know who I am taking it to to fix it back up.

Hey man, you realize that you can order the paint from House of Kolors and all the supplies and just pay for labor with any paint job right?

Most shops just use what they are use to but dont have a problem with changing brands if you request it, although some will try to talk you out of it.

Yeah some paint you can't I have a 3 stage Pearl paint for best results it has to be applied layer by layer. House of Kolors can easily be messed up.

K & W Automotive

(703) 491-8485

15413 Farm Creek Dr
Woodbridge, VA 22191
Prince William, County

Owner: JIM WICKENS
Painter - SERGIO

Not the cheapest nor the most expensive - competitive pricing. Doing business with them for over 10 yrs - ALWAYS satisfied.....that means a lot coming from someone as particular as I am about his vehicles.

They don't do a lot of "trick" work but Sergio is an awesome painter.

Good Luck!

Karl
