Default sad face....function tuned....

yo! I need to get ahold of dave or n e one at function tuned. I decided for them to be my main tuner when i get back from kuwait. LOL at the title of this its to get their attention.

Also this is open to suggestions on the car.
2004 fully loaded z.
want to autox and road course it and also go to the drag strip ( for fun )
I am thinking of a supercharger or a single turbo since it will be around my price range since i am aiming for a complete suspension/handling make over.
Also I will be gettin a cf hood and hatch guarrantied.

LOL you can prob call the car " THE Z KUWAIT BUILT FOR ME"

O also i need to get ahold of anyone with scca knowledge or VIR road course knowledge.

Also safety equipment. I knowz i need helmet.

And yes I still have a DD. The tiburon. '

if u want to autox and do some road courses

start off with suspension then work ur way into it.. and learn how to drive the car. having that much power and trying to power out of a corner isnt just mashing the pedal.

Yuppers I used to auto x the tiburon. I know the 350 is another beast as you all know from my stories. Main plans were to do the basic stuff ... Exhaust headers and so on. A tune. Then alot of suspension and makin the beast lighter. Ive learned with the mistakes from my tiburon that ... ugg... Out of all the parts that i bought for the car i notice the most is the cornering. Upgraded rear sway, front/rear strut bars .. ect... Its also i know where i can autox and rc in Vegas just not here in DC

You want a lot from the same car. Forced-induction will put you in a unique class with SCCA autocross. May not be competitive but will be fun.

your choice if you want to go with turbonetics or APS but i would go with turbo compared to supercharger mainly cuz of torque and garrett turbos for a quick spool, i am sure there are a bunch of other people on here that can give you much mor einfo than me. btw i have tnetics and from what i have heard they are notorious for their boost spikes, but so far i havent seen any but it could be cuz i am still running my stock exhaust but good luck with your build and dave is the perfect man for whatever you need done.

pm me helmet price bro...

Kuwait...thanks for your service bro...had the best honey glazed lamb chops in my life in Kuwait..man they know how to eat.

The power labs is a great kit but its potential will make you spend big money down the road. If you are like me and enjoying driving the shizzil out of your car everday ....all day in all temps...then buy a Super Charger. The SC has a limit and it forces you to be happy with what you get out of it.

The APS single is a great kit, although the potenial to turn up boost is there. The Greddy TT kit is a VERY strong kit that can push upto 600 wheel. Again, what is your goals of the car and can you be satisfied in 6months with 380 wheel, or do you think you want 450 wheel?

If you think you will want more...later...

buy a built block before yo do anything to your car. Then buy the suspension and dial in the car with various Autox and Track time.... then buy the SC with pulley upgrades or turbo set up and have them installed on the bulit block to save on labor cost. And you will also have a spare motor if something was to every happen with the built block motor.

Always think at least 4 or 5 steps down the road when considering any mod. Some you may have to sell if you go with a stillen SC which is a low end TQ monster with no top end... Or Vortech SC..no low end and all top end HP.... or turbo (dont buy a turbonetcis kit) which can have it all if you go with the tried and proven JWT (my choice if I ever go turbo).

you need to tell us more information on what you really want out of your car?

I am runing about 350RWHP on a DynoDynamics 388 on a Dynapack and the car is smooth and fun. I have been beat, but I can drive the shizzil out of my car in the turns and higher speeds because I dont have huge TQ like these turbo cars that often brake traction with the blink of an eye....its all about what you want and need bro.

good luck.

I paid under 4K for my kit and parts and run with the best of them. And will challeng anyone to a short track road race....Hehehehe...any takers?

i am saving up for a new clutch cuz the more i push it the more its starting to slip, so going boosted you gotta cover alot of other parts before you can shoot for a big number.
