Default do it yourself

I say buy a dewalt variable speed buffer and learn to do it yourself.
Dont use anything but 3m products.

I have a mainly carbon fiber car with airbrushing all over it. I hit it about every 3 months.

Looks better than new.

Hell im willing to show anyone how to use a buffer if they are willing to drive a couple of hours. I will even show them all the products I use.

When I do an exterior detail; thats getting scratches out, swirl mark remover and the final ultra fina buff, I charge about $300 bucks. Thats no interior at all.

Just that takes about 6-8 hours.

It's horrible. I'll try to go by and snap some pics today if I have any free time.

I have another car I can practice on. I'm actually thinking about buying the Porter Cable 7424 XP http://www.autogeek.net/po.html. I've been watching a lot of videos and reading the info on Autotopia. I'll def check out the 3M products also. I just need to find some time to do everything. I usually take my wheels off about once every 1.5 months and they even take along time to clean. I'll set aside at least 8 hours when I decide to do a wash, clay, buffer, wax job.

Default buffer

I have had my dewalt for years. Its worth the money. I honestly wouldn't recommend any other brand. The quality and reliability is amazing. Any variable speed buffer will do though.

Some People swear by the clay bar. I personally have never used the clay bar.

If you have any questions feel free to hit me up.
