Default Intrest in a group buy for professional pics of our cars??

Well I have been wanting to get really nice pics of my car and over the winter I am getting my Volks touched up where UPS damaged them, and I am getting my sideskirts repaired where a hubcap damaged them, so once spring hits and I have a minty fresh detail job, why not get some pro shots.

I have met one photographer who I think skills are up to par.
Throw out some opinions though on photographers. I figure we all get together...maybe 5-10 cars so he can shoot about 50-75 shots of each car with ample lighting.

I am primarily wanting solo shots, but we can def get some group shots.

Also locations as well. I know of two cool ones. One by the train tracks down by the river (past Bottoms Up) and another by the old Manchester station.

What do ya guys think?

F that, behhjeh and phil are planning a photoshoot, just go to it, get pics taken, and don't pay for it.

or maybe invest in a camera and learn yourself?

Ok I just got back from vacation, this guy heads up the local NASA racing club and has a great camera and is a good photographer.

http://www.getfastphoto.com/

We are looking at 75 bucks for a local shoot setup and 25bucks for every car.

So...3 cars 150 bucks total payment so we can split it.

He told me he will take about 70pics of the cars and take the 20-25 best ones and edit those and those will be yours with no watermarks.

My car is pretty much stock but I guess that doesnt really matter (as they are for me HA!). Id be down to pony up some cash for some nice pictures. With any luck they will be the "before" of the "before and after"

If you need another car im in.

OK guys we def have enough interest.
So lets get a max of 8 cars for the richmond area.

If anyone has recommendations on a great location lets hear them.

And a preffered date to have the shoot? My car will be out of the the body shop end of january, I am thinking mid to late Feb would be good on a Sat or Sunday.
I hear sunrise is the best for taking shots so maybe early in the AM
