Richmond Area Tuner
Anyone know if theres a reputatable tuner shop in the Richmond area that will install and tune twin turbo kits. I'm probably gettin the HR twin turbo kit from greddy, with the intercooler as well. Need some ideas!! Thanks!

I would also say go to Function Tuned, but if you HAVE to stay in Richmond...
DO NOT go to RPM (Richmond Performance Motorsports) or Adrenaline Autoworks
An RPM tech was abusing a cust. 350Z after TT/Nitrous install, crashed and killed himself. Adrenaline Autoworks took out a customers S2K after doing work, took it to a local ricer meet, revved the crap out of it and beat on the engine in the parking lot - fists ensued.
I would contact
Delta V Motorsports
1400 Mactavish Ave
Richmond, VA 23230
(804) 355-4440
They do more Porsche stuff, but they say they specialize in 350Z, and my friend's Porsche work done there was top notch.
Also, to some extent
Performance Autosport
12927 Plaza Dr
Richmond, VA 23233
(804) 784-8851
Excellent shop, just limited knowledge on the Z. They are a mustang shop, but they are very very good at what they do. Might be worth the call.
After all that... I still say take it to Function:Tuned

Thanks for the heads up. Yeah I've heard good things and bad things but it seems the good doesn't outweigh the bad, unfortunately. I will check into Function:Tuned!! I may have to wait a little longer as I have to travel a lil more to get to this place. Ill have a friend or my father come with me to check things out and leave the car there for some time.

You will send more time going back and forth with shops in Richmond trying to get your car right then it will take making one trip to Function:Tuned.
Bump for Function:Tuned

Shoot Dave a call (Function:Tuned). He'll explain absolutely EVERY detail to you and answer every question or concern you may have. (703)889-0763
Word on the street is he has a NEW EMS in the works for the HR and rev-ups. So nice I may swich to it for my DE even.

I'm from Richmond and I took my Z to RPM and theyve had it for 10+ weeks. All im getting done is a single turbo install done. They said alot of stuff was missing from the kit and now im stuck paying an extra 700 dollars (Not including install price and probably more when its finished) for all the extra parts they say they had to get. When I originally showed them the kit they took a look around and said that everything was there and it should be done in a week or two. I should have done my research and picked a better shop. I think I'll be taking a visit to AAM or Function Tuned in the near future. From what Ive heard about RPM im expecting some problems as soon as i get it back. I will be shocked but greatfull if everything turns out ok.

dude, get your car out of RPM now. This was the last 350Z turbo install they did, and the mechanic died from this crash.
