Hoping I'm not too off topic but has anyone here had any experiance with FNH?? they make the new SCAR rifles (spec ops yada yada yada) I was considering a handgun with the desrt finish. But not sure on the quality of these, I have also found there are dealers in VA for these weapons. I am familiar with HK and sig... should i stick with them??
just heard my friend shot himself in the pinky. honestly he is not an idiot but did an idiotic thing. im a little more upset that he did something so stupid as a gun owner oppose to the fact he actually shot himself.

The 4 rules....forgetting them once is all it takes. Hope your bud is ok and can still count to 10 without removing his shoes.

Obama and the Dums will take whatever they can get away with. EBRs are going to be history.
If you like your guns, join the NRA today, don't wait till tomorrow, go to the website and join... There is no other organization that will really look out for your Constitutional and natural rights to own firearms. There are other pro gun organizations out there also, but the best bang for the buck is the NRA.
As far as the DEagle goes, unless you are 6'8" and weight 300 pounds of pure muscle, I would not bother. I am a Recoil junkie, I did not enjoy shooting the DEagle .50 at all. I put a magazine through one once, I would not shoot one again. Also a DEagle is not a beginner gun. They are gas operated and temperamental, if you get lazy while shooting it, it turns into jam city.
6' 6" and 250 lbs of mostly muscle. I could probably handle it but the fact that it is jam happy discourages me. Still would like to at least try one out.

I rented a .50 DE way back when and paid $21 for a box of 20 rounds. By the end of the 2nd magazine, I was ready to turn the gun back in. They're just too much.
If you have your heart set on a DE, I highly recommend a .44 or a .357. I used to have a .357 and it was a very easy gun to shoot, even with +P loads, which it really seemed to like since it is a gas operated weapon.
