Yea I'm talking to Jason about it. He said wait for the front bumper to cure. It usually gets darken up and the reflection of it will change quite a bit. I do believe they have the ability to paint match since the rear bumper and side skirt's color match perfectly. Maybe he's right about the curing thing? I'm just gonna have to wait and see.

No offense but it took me about 4 - 5 seconds to Google it.. I literally put in "D&V" and my Google Toolbar finished the suggestion and said "D&V Autobody" for me. And guess what? The first link in the search result is D&V's website!

Here we go...

I did the same, but since I know nothing about the business, I wanted to make sure I was contacting the right one. Because as far as I know, D&V was supposed to be in Gaithersburg (for what I read) and the link that appears in google (the one you gave me) says that it is in VA...

I use google so much that one of my mouse buttons opens it directly

I just wanted to make sure so I wouldnt have problems down the line.

Thanks

They are in Dulles, not Gaithersburg

Here is their website:
dandvautobody.com

You should be able to get whatever contact info you need, really good guys there, handling my car as we speak.

LOL, thanks Ethan for the help, I messed up the shops. I meant Classic Auto body.

So which one would be best for bumper repair and paint work? (through Insurance)

Classic Auto Body, Paintmasters or D&V?

Thanks.

get MD out of your head bro...

D&V is in VA, right near FT and they do good work.

we dont know or speak of anyone in MD other than the old cartoys2...

Frederick Nissan does good body and paint work also... prob because one of the cartoys2 guys works in the paint shop.

also if you search in the MIDA section you will find countless threads on Body Work, your agression could pizz some people off, all the information you need is right here in the forums. Good luck man... D&V is the only place to go, even if its really far from your house since you seem to be stuck on MD.

Jeez. What is up with Rockville & Z's these days?

I'm the guy who had mine stripped in my friggin' driveway, and this just makes me crazy.

At first, I was numb. As time has gone on, I want revenge.

I will tell you this: when Spring comes, I will be attending all local Z events. I put a duct for my intake in the front bumper of my car. This was one of the major items stolen, and I'd put it in a very specific (and slightly different from everyone else) place, so in essence its location is almost like a fingerprint.

Should I find my bumper on someone else's car, I will wreak EXTREME vengeance on this person.

Just so you know (you *******) . . .

I'm just sayin'

I know the feeling of getting you $hit broken into. You feel dirty like you just been violated or raped. I tell ya what to, the justice system is on the side of the defendant if ever you have to go to court. I been to court 5 times with this one kid who broke into my car last Jan. In the end he has to pay me for my ipod, navigation, and the dectutible on my insurance at the wooping total of 133.00 per month. If you have the opprotuinty just shoot them..shoot to kill because dead men tell no tales.

Also...if insurance is dealing with it who cares about the cost...get it done right.

although i am not a z driver, i have a vw golf and after a minor mishap, i took my car to d&v for repairs. obvious damage was the front grille, hood and even a headlight. insurance took care of it and although my rates went up like $14/month, i'm quite happy with the work d&v did on my car.

colour match is as good as can be and when i picked up my car, it was washed and waxed! bizump for d&v repair shop near function tuned!
