Default Tax Season

Hey Guys, tax season is upon us and I'm sure i'll be getting my paperwork shortly. So i thought to get a head start. Anyone have any recommendations as to who I can go to and get them done with in the DC metro area. H&R block isn't cutting it for me anymore. hopefully this will help many of the other local members also.

thanks in advance!

I do turbo tax online. Just answer a bunch of questions. Pretty simple. Turbo tax will efile your federal and state returns.

Is Turbo Tax reliable? I've been paying this guy about $800 for Fed taxes, 3x personal income taxes for a few years...

I did mine the second I got my W-2 last week, Turbotax took me about 30 mins and I'll be getting my returns in less than 10 days. It's idiot proof and very reliable. Turbotax charges a small fee depending on which option you choose. Just select the "basic" option, it'll cost $15. If you do a direct deposit into your account, they charge you a bit more (like $35 er so?) for the service.

Make sure to check if you've received an economic stimulus payment last year as well, this will be one of the questions. Chances are, it'll be $600. I think everyone should have gotten this.

reckner shaffer and berg

3012301800

they who I use and I have a accounting degree. there on point and very reasonably priced.

those online ones are fine for basic returns. any sort of trading esp partnerships, are going to be a little more complex than what I would trst turbo tax to handle. there good but are limited

Andy,

ok, my ride is a 2001 VW GOLF...with the TDI diesel motor....i MIGHT go for a 50mm turbo and some major increase in injectors...with a straight pipe, so i'd be pulling major torque.....
