Default New tires for the beater, where to get a good deal ?

I need to change the front tires of my beater. They are worn a lot so i need to replace them asap. I am planning to look for walmart and sears auto.. I believe they are 175-85 -13 but not 100 percent sure. So where else i can get a good deal? I am planning to spend maybe 130-140 for both including balance and etc ? So any idea ?

I would get them used if it was just a beater. Most wrecker yards have spots where they sell used tires. my .02

radial tire in silver spring got the best prices on new tires. there is a used tire place in gburg but its kinda ghetto but like 35 dollars for a tire with decent tread. but you gotta be **** and check for dry rott and stuff. I'd just do radial tire

Don't skimp on tires (you don't have to buy the most expensive set), they're arguably your #1 safety device on your car.

Buy new, not used, and buy from tirerack.com.
