On a positive note, at least they used the correct jacking points.

...and yes, all 4 are gone.

STOCK RAYS! sheesh.

Getting your stuff stolen always sucks. I wanna say get some aftermarket wheels with the insurance money but the ****** who took the stock RAYS would probably jump on them too. Best of luck getting this fixed.

Problem is that they won't give you the $1400 a wheel that the rays are actually worth. The insurance company will give you second rate refurbished wheels for about $300 a wheel. (I found this out the hard way)

Severn? Geez, I better keep an eye on my Z in that case.

If you don't mind me asking, what community? Reason is that I'm shopping around for town houses but after reading 3 different posts plus this one about Z's being vandalized I want to be careful about where I get a place.

I won't give specifics, but I'm very close to Post (Fort Meade). Takes my 5 minutes to get to the front gate.

Sorry man.

Fair enough. I was looking at apartments in Piney Orchard in Odenton. What worries me is that it is close to Ft. Meade as well.

Yeah, wait until the economy gets worse. Then it is really going to suck as far as crime goes. Now they are taking wheels, soon they are going to take your whole car as well as break into your house.

I wouldn't have believed $1400/wheel until I just had insurance replace my passenger front/rear wheels after my accident. They were almost $800 each!

Just got a quote from the dealership (Insurance company told me to call):

$1884.57 Front wheel + tire + TPS...EACH
$1927.57 Rear wheel + tire + TPS...EACH
$4.53 per lugnut

All of this NOT including labor.

so, about $8000 claim just to replace wheels IF they use brand new OEM parts.

I bumped a curb last winter cause of the weather and it was $3500 damage and my insurance company raised my yearly rate by $1200.

I hope the guy that stole the wheels gets what's coming to him.

To the OP, sorry to de-rail your thread. Hopefully you get some replacements or new wheels soon!

If only I could buy my next Z "without wheels/tires" and save $8k off the invoice price. They could have a "Bring your own Volks or Works" Special!
