Just got a freaking email from my manager that I'm laid off. She told me to go turn in my laptop and badge tomorrow.... I'm pretty blown right now. With this economy it might be pretty hard to get another job that pays the same as my current job. Part out might be coming soon if I can't find another job immediately. Stay tuned...

Just found out I'm not qualified for receiving unemployment checks since I fail to meet one of the requirements on having 3 or more different jobs in the past 3 years.... I think part out is coming up real soon.

 

you need to have 3 or more jobs in the past 3 years to collect unemployment? Where the hell is the logic in that? Reward the people who can't hold down a steady job but shaft over the others?

yea the phone interview went well. I'm waiting for HR to contact me to schedule for the on site interview. They're taking a while though. It'd been 3 days. And who knows if I'll get hired or not.
