AAM Shop Review
I recently had a small issue with my AAM exhaust where the resonator pipe cracked at one of the welds(This wasn't an AAM weld but rather a weld of the resonator manufacturer). This caused a horrible exhaust leak, ridiculous sound and it seemed to have an effect on how smoothly the engine ran.
I called up AAM looking to see what I could do to get a replacement pipe and Clint promptly sourced a replacement part, talked with Mike about it and called me back all within a matter of about an hour or so. I didn't set an appointment but instead just called ahead when I was on my way. I get there and within 10 minutes Clint has a lift cleared for me and they get to work on the exhaust. They replaced the damaged pipe and replaced the gaskets and exhaust hardware at no charge to me. One thing to note is that I didn't ask for a freebie or any special treatment. I literally was at the shop waiting for all but 30-45 mins tops including the time I spent shooting the shyt with Clint and Jeremy and watching a GTR dyno a few times.
I am not affiliated/sponsored by AAM, I'm not a local shop fanboy nor was I asked by anyone to write this. I simply wanted to share my experience where I received superb customer service as well as a company standing behind their product. Big thanks goes to Clint and the techs for hooking me up!

Haha, I have definitely heard stories from both sides of the spectrum but in the few interactions I have had with them so far I have been pleased. By the way we need to do some more backroad driving soon I found a few new roads local to us that we can really have some fun with. Even on my wack *** stock suspension lol

I should be going to Mason dixon this Friday but I wont be running slicks and my POS clutch(slave cylinder problem) didnt hold up to well the last time I ran slicks so honestly I can't say 4 sure. I think ATS has come out with a conversion to get rid of our shytty concentric slave design but I dont see myself paying $2500-3000 for a clutch unless I go FI. I bought some Motul fluid to hopefully counteract the heat problem in the slave and see how it holds up un street tires. If it holds well I will be calling up Alberto to try the slicks again!

Slicks are yours anytime man...
As far as my car, I havent gotten off my a$$ to maintain it and I really dont want to spend $$$$ on getting it out on the road 100%, nicer weather daily may convince me, but I just did the suspension on the SV650S so now the car got whored again lol.
