Default May 17th Combo DRIFT & FT BBQ Meet

Meet time will be early 630 Function Tuned...will depart sharp at 645.

You guessed the die hard of the die hard will be going to Summit Point for the morning session of drifting, then headed back to Function at noon to make the previously scheduled meet time of 1pm-ish.

You car will be dirty, but your hunger will be satisfied.

0. Cash for food and misc.
1. Cash for tripple skid pad = dry ($75) includes wet also
2. Cash for wet skid pad = $20
3. 125-150 for the course, but since we are only doing a half day. I would not recommend this for only a few hours, but ballers will be ballers.
4. Arrive on time with a full tank of gas, there is gas at the track but is pricey. Why should those who got less sleep wait on you, maybe this meet isnt for you. Dont sign up if youre not committed. I will take pictures of you and post up how you are a superflake...lol
5. Breakfast...if you are running a little behind...call someone on the list and say hey man, can you grab me a eggs SAMMICH, I'll pay you when I get to FT. (see point 0)
6. Helmet for your big head!

sign up sheets starts here....

copy this list, paste into new post, add your name, submit post (for the folks who always say...add me! add me!.... add yourself. I dont make enough to have a secretary, but I make waaay too much to be yours! LOL

I kill me...lol

car registration is at 8 for drivers... you can come whenever. I would not come too late because after about 3.5 - 4 hours we are packing up and headed back to VA to FT for the BBQ. (estimated depart time is 1230) puts us at FT at 130 at the latest.

last time folks showed up around 11 but we stayed all day.

If you leave the house around 8 you shouldnt miss too much when things kick off at 830-ish 9am.

Yeah, I was just curious because its only a 45 min drive or so for me to get there. I am 50/50 in terms of showing up, but seems like it would be a meet-up point prior to leaving for FT.

I'd put my name on the list but I am still 50/50. Won't know till Saturday night. Having a huge party on Saturday and depending on how late I am up, depends on if I can make it. I will be at F-tuned.

Hey 4SHIZZIL, so you are meeting at FT to go to WV to Summit Point?

I am also a noob, and I lack the helmet (or the experience for that matter on a skid pad).

How does it work if I am there just to look? I would love to go on the skidpad, but I do not think I will be able to get a helmet a this point. So I would like to watch to know what do I need and be prepared for the next meet.

Thanks.

You can rent/borrow a helmet at Sumit Pt. for free! I did it last time as I have no helmet. (I'm a cheap *** and just don't have the cash to buy one.)

A bunch of us are meeting at FT to cruise over to Summit Point.

Meet time will be early 630 Function Tuned...will depart sharp at 645.

We will be leaving from F:T at 6:45 sharp!!! I believe they have helmets you can borrow there. To just watch it will be either free or 10$ a person depending on whether or not US drift is there.
