Hey everyone,as some of you might know im moving to VA from CA coming this June. I got a couple questions,
Is it required to smog your vehicle out there?

Can you supercharge or turbocharge legally?

Anything else I might need to know when I get out there?

And lastly who lives near Woodbridge?

 

You do have to get emissions done but as long as you have an OBD II I think they only plug into the port inside the car. So if no CEL's show up you'll pass no problem.

Nah I'm in the Tyson's area which is about 20-25 minutes away from Woodbridge.

 

Down here in richmond we dont deal with emissions test just a state inspection. I have been runing test pipes for years and have 0 problems getting my sticker LOL.

 

So do they actually care how loud the car is then? Is police rough out there? And can you have front tint on your windows?

I never have problems with cops on how low my car is (I am VERY VERY LOW) as for tint it has to be 35% on sides and no tint on front.

Va and md laws are nothing compaired to ca laws lol . I live about 10 miles or so from woodbridge.

 

Va is sounding good so far. I was looking into some profiles and noticed that a couple Z's are part of the national Z club? Is that a crew out their? if so how big?

 

MD and VA are easy with emissions but VA sucks as their police are like *****.

 

Since when? I wouldn't want to get caught in VA for speeding or doing anything stupid, however both VA and Maryland should be a 1 on a 1 out of 10 scale VS CA...

VA has PITA yearly inspections, however tons of the shops will sign off with ease.

MD has 1 inspection when you first tag a car, after that you never have to get it inspected, however there's smog test every 2 years. But, even that isn't that hard to pass if you run a tunable ECU. and some form of cats.

 

Anybody know of any jobs that are hiring right now? Ive been searching around, but does anybody know of anything that can get me a job for sure near Woodbridge a little after the 10th of June? I don't mind commuting as long as I get paid. lol
