E10, and anyone else with an aftermarket bodykit: I ordered something from Stillen and it turned out not to be what I wanted [wanted a new rear bumper and ordered a rear valance/skirt by mistake...I'm a noob]. So I called up Stillen to complain and we get into a heated convo and he tells me the front bumper I ordered from Ground Dynamics is a cheap, Chinese knock off and will probably flap in the wind and not fit properly once installed. So my question is, did I make a mistake by cheaping out on a kit? [It's a Spec N-2 which I just found out is a knock off of the Nismo V2 bumper and skirts] I don't want to go through the hassle of putting this thing on and then being known in the Mid-A for being the dude with the "flappy body kit". :0(

You can do some custom graphic (aka stickers) on the spokes to make it look sorta JDM.

Here's my take on flappy replica body parts. It's all about how much it costs in the end. For example of you pay for $1000 for an authentic perfectly fitting front bumper then another $500 to prep and paint it. You're talking about $1500 here right? So if you buy a cheap flappy replica front bumper for $400 and spend $800 for fitting, installationg and paint it. So that's $1200.

$1500 - Authentic perfectly fitted
$1200 - Replica close to perfectly fitted

You just have to justify the cost and hassle. Usually I'd consider buying used body kits because they're already fitted and buying authentic body kits new. Also keep in mind that some authentic body kits don't fit that well. Like JP Vizage body kits fit like crap and that's why I had to get my side skirts and stuff molded.

Ok, well I'm looking for a lip or front splitter now so hopefully once it's on and painted everything'll look right.

Yea body shop makes a big difference too. A good body shop can sand and mold until a crappy body kit fits. And there're always ways to reinforce a flappy body kit. Hit up my recommended shop in Elkridge! If you don't mind a hike, go to D&V in VA. Both shops will be able to pull some magic.

I hope you are joking E10...i would not do that..i would probably paint the lip flat back and leave the center gold... The set up im lookin at comes with 20mm spacers for the rear the pics i posted are the actual one i night get. Yea sportmaxx xxr are mainly on 240s but these look good on the Z. If they were 19s it would be alot better.
