I went to Wisp on my birthday last year.....in the rain hahaha and I take day trips up to Liberty occasionally. But I'm going up to Seven Springs the last weekend of January and I'm stoked to go on that trip.
Brit didn't have any flu. They did a test and it was NEG! LIAR!!!! Plus a flushot doesn't guarantee you won't get the flu.
Pfft doc says i do have the flu. They did a strep test and that came back negative, he said it was pointless to do a flu test seeing how my fever had broken that day and all i had were the remaining symptoms. So he said there was no point in paying for a test that would tell me i had it. He also said if i would have came the day before when i still had the fever they would have given me tamiflu but since the infection was "half way gone" which i believe was bs then there would be no point in taking it. The very next day my fever jumped back to 103 and my coughs have gotten worse body aches got worse, everything just got worse. Boo on that doc. But that medicine they gave me definitely helped me sleep......and youre right about the flu shot it DOESNT guarantee anything the only reason I would get it is if i had asthma or something. So again chen F shots. Still dont understand why people freak out about swine flu......I guess it's just another phase like the bird flu. IT's all the freakin same geez. You get sick. Take care of it, youll suffer through some annoying symptoms but you'll be fine in the end. Unless you have some weird disease where you have a low white blood cell count where you cant fight off infections as easily.
