Actually I think one of the newer versions of the Injen intake also replaces the MAF housing so you just screw the maf sensor directly into the tube.
P.S. You must have a security star screwdriver to get the maf sensor out.

Regular screw driver worked fine for me.

On your sti or on your sisters Z? Because on mine you have to use the security star screwdriver. If yours was a regular screw then someone might not have put the right screws back in when they worked on the intake at one point.
Honestly I can deal with it, because MAF sensors are a hot thing. And I wouldn't want mine being easily removable. Really all you could do though is just disconnect the housing from the couplers and unhook the sensor wire and take the whole housing if you wanted it that bad. But the sensors are damn expensive.
