chen just talk to BC or any of there dealers its really good price for a rebuild. I forget what it is I had found out at one time... They may even do it for free if its a defect
yo guys i need some help.
My inspection notice came for my 07. its due 03/17/10. Im currently in chicago for school and i cant do anything about it. My car has test pipes on it and its throwing a CEL.
Im not sure what to do at this point. I wont be able to go home until the 16th which is my spring break. I can get my father to take the car to places but hes not going to be able to switch the test pipes to CATs. On that topic, i dont even OWN a pair of catalytic converters so i honestly have no idea what to do. Do you guys know of any inspection places that will do a not-so-honest job with some cash in hand? This is the cars first inspection.
What the FFFF should i do.

Its $90 for a rebuild from BC. The coilover does not need to be shipped out, they send you a rebuild kit which mainly consist of the piston and the housing. Everything else gets reused.
clunking can sometimes be attributed to a loose nut inside the coilover housing. Trust me, you're not the only one, I've seen this happen on a ton of aftermarket coilover kits. Though, you don't necessarily *need* a rebuild, because I bet it drives/handles just fine. It's just clunking right?
