Ok so without the flame dood...if i just get the Test pipes and have an intake and stock exhaust... will I gain any power? also, will it get any louder and how much? does it sound nice?

 

Dont put test pipes ona stock exhaust... get like invidia N1 and test pipes.. Cheaper Exhaust but sounds good.. or go single most singles are around $700

Yeah i know iv been away for a while but im coming to the meet saturday with you guys looking forward to it.

a little gain, it will be noticeably louder. i remember i had that setup for a few months and the rasp annoyed the **** out of me untill i got an aftermarket exhaust.

Check out FYE in Arundel Mills. They have a pretty decent selection and there's a place in Columbia Mall to, can't remember the name though.

If you get the right exhaust, it won't rasp. Please don't put testpipes on your stock exhaust though....it makes the car sound horrrrrible. Just get a single like everyone is saying. They do sound really good. Sometimes I would like to trade my duals for a single. But I would do TP's or HFC's only with an exhaust system. Seems dumb to free up exhaut flow, just to push it through a tiny muffler and piping again. AAM is a popular single exhaust and it sounds realllllllly good. You can buy it in different pipe sizing too depending on how loud you want to go and all.


But PLEASE don't get TP's with stock exhaust.
