Barnie if you want a CF helmet give Joe Rocket a try, they are like $250ish at the Laurel shop. I tried them on but they just didn't do it for me. Same for the HJCs way too heavy and feel too cheap.

I'm replacing my RF900 with the new one a RF1100

http://www.joerocket.com/catalog/ind..._Carbon_Helmet

They are $399.99 MSRP so $250 doesn't sound too bad.

This one has difference color choices.

I saw that... you say heavier?? according to the write up on the HJC the CF helmets are supposed to be lighter...

He said I'm inexperienced so he'd have to pay me below minimum wage under the table.

But yea I'm getting into some really bad financial crisis. It's either parting out the Z or suck it up and work an extra job. I got nothing but time now until September anyway. I'm not sure about getting back into the food industry... It'd be funny if I wear a suit working with a government official during the day on IT strategic planning and serve him/her burger at night.

I've noticed HJCs in general have been heavy. However just looking into that CF helmet it is light. Almost half a pound lighter XL VS the Shoe-I XL.

Try the Shoe-i on then the HJC the CF helmet HJC offers looks to be in the $400.00 range so maybe it's a legit helmet. I haven't seen many HJCs over $200.00 and all the ones I've treid (owned one a long time ago too!) have felt super cheap and were heavy.

Hopefully we'll have another good helmet option.

Wait tables part time. Half of my income for the last 10 years has been from waiting tables.

Clay the main reason Vietnamese people are skinny is because they work hard sun up to sun down and have no money. Plus the nearest KFC and MCD is something like 3000 miles away.
*shakes fist
I work from sun up to sun down too! It's hard work going to boring *** meetings and trying to look interested all day.

BTW, you just reminded me someone told me i need to try that KFC chicken/bacon/chicken sammich before they stop making them.

Yea I was talking to one of the clerks at pete's cycles and she said the new HJC's are really nice.. I liek that 2 tone helmet with the CF though instead of all one color. O will I will make a desicion soon.

Anything will be better then the scorpion EXO I have right now...

E10 what jeffie said about waiting tables is very true.... that or delivering pizza. Its easy work and pretty good money .

I used to deliver for Pizza hut as a second job when I was fresh out of HS. I did pretty good especially on weekends.

Don't go cheap on a helmet. That's the most important part!

Spotted a silver Z sounded like a plane about to launch.
Weirdest part was it had a pizza sign on the roof.
Now that's fast deliveryLOL

I want this one, for my car. Full carbon fiber and ultra light. If you're going to get a bike helmet, you might as well upgrade to a car helmet. They're much safer AND you won't get banned from the road course for bringing a motorcycle helmet.

Why would a motorcycle helmet fail the track ?? I thought it was the same specs>?
