Okay this is for all you guys that like a good puzzle. Its for my Forensic Science class and i've been at it for about 2 hours now. see if you guys can figure it out as well.
Here it is:
Forensic chemist burke assisted the Baltimore Country Police in solving five crimes. the crimes involved were arson, embezzlement, kidnapping, murder and robbery.
Each of these crimes occured in a different one of these five cities: Hunt Valley,, Woodlawn, Reisterstown, Essex and White Marsh.
The primary clue used by Ms. Murke to solve each crime was different in each case. Clues used to solve the crimes were: an eyewitness, fingerprints, a letter, a phone tip, and a tire track.
From the information provided, determine the crime that was committed in each city and what clue was used to solve each case.
- In no particular order, the crimes solved in Hunt Valley, Woodlawn and Reisterstown were arson, embezzlement and the one solved by the evidence of the eyewitness.
- The tire track and the phone tip were not the clues that solved the crimes of embezzlement or murder.
- the three crimes: 1) the murder, 2) the kiddnapping and 3) the crime solved by the clue in a letter did not occur in White Marsh or Reisterstown.
- The three crimes: 1) the crime solved by a tire track, 2) the kidnapping and 3) the robbery did not occur in Essex.
- the crime in Hunt Valley was not solved by a clue found in a letter.
Good Luck!!
