Gorgeous Z and keep those rims! Just get them powercoated black because they really set off your car in a great way.

I live in woodbridge as well so I may see you on the road. I don't own a 350Z but I will certainly wave to ya if I see ya!

@M3chaser,
I think I might get them Powder coated, but its such a hassle, Im going to need another set of wheels to drive on while it gets done, gotta take the tires off and all that, yuck, so much to deal with. How long does powder coating usually take? A few days?

Well up until I got the Z earlier this year, I was honda all the way. There are obvious differences between the Z and my previous cars... the power difference, the rear wheel drive (ftw!), and I think most importantly, the people in the scene. I dont know how to put it without sounding terrible, but Z and G owners are just a little higher caliber, if that makes any sense. The car is great though, and Im glad to have another Z owner in the area!

In a way man we both took the same paths..lol Rsx-S right here, big change between the cars, but then again the rsx had a different feel driving wise which I liked, but the 350 just isn't a comparison at all when comparing the two, Hopefully we can set up meets out in the area man..

It really should only take a day I believe. If you had a day to waste you could jack the car up at a friends house and take the wheels off and bring them to tire shop to have them dismounted and then bring them to get powder coated then once done just bring them back to the tire shop and hav them remount and throw the wheels back on. It is a bit of a hassle but perhaps cheaper than buying another set up rims?

I called around to a few places in the northern virginia area and they say it may take more like 3 or 4 days to make sure that every thing is done right and is dry, cured and ready have tires mounted again. I think Ill just stick with what Ive got for now and save up for some engine mods. With my prelude I worried about the outside first, I dont want to go that route again!
