Default LF d2s bulb

Hey, well i had condensation in my headlight but i just wanted to know if anyone has a stock d2s bulb or anything i could borrow or buy just to see if the ballast works or if the bulb just blew

i live in germantown and wud just need for a couple of hours, thx!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but 03-05 headlights use D2R. 06+ use D2S

Aren't then D2S and the D2R interchangeable? Most places that sell aftermarket HID bulbs always list the bulbs as D2S/D2R???

they're notched differently so D2S isn't a drop in plug n play.
D2R is made for reflection bowl. D2S is made for projection designed bowl.
If you retrofitted D2S into a D2R socket, the light output may appear slightly
brighter but the beam pattern will not be optimum and may result in hot spots (or dimmed sectors).

whatever the case of bulbs. The ballest being that it sits directly on the bottom of the light is probably blown. Due to the fact that the water eventually settles and drips on top of it and then leaks past the plug into the electric parts. Has happened to a few Z's i know of so far.
