LOL. Im in too but from how it was described to me there are no actual Turkeys? One of my redneck coworkers was telling me about them. Apparantly it's a contest and no animals at all. He described it as $3 a shot (you buy a "number")... closest and most complete target wins the raffle style pool... moderate drinking allowed. You use their ammo to be fair (12ga) and they load your shot for you.

Sounded more like a BS'ing fun type event and was seeing if anyone on here has ever heard of them or has been to one.

I now work weekends, 6-11 so anytime after 12 I'm free, I'd love to get the guns out, I've yet to take linh shooting, so it has for sure been at least 2+ years =( I wish I had a place to shoot my 12G I haven't shot that in around 4 years.

Refresh my memory with on target, you bring in your own paper and they supply you with cardboard pieces and a stapler?

If we do go shooting this weekend, did you want to grab food somewhere? There's a great Italian place in my neighborhood with real Italians, they do burgers and steak and cheese for the basic eaters =), or maybe a place in Columbia? If we go somewhere I'd like to have a place to store the guns, either at someones house or mine. I've never been one to leave guns in a car while making a stop. Not that it's an option in MD. Another option is we can come back to my place and grill up steaks. I can get some ribeyes and do a bunch of wings. P.S and a case or two of beer.

Just confirmed with my parents that we should be at OT at 10-10:30am Sat, Im pumped about having my mom shoot again.

Jeffie if you still want to I'll catch up with you next week after you get off.

OT doesnt provide you anything, you either buy targets or bring your own to hang ready to go.

yeah wont make it this time around but maybe next week. However, I'll eat a steak for the sake of what could have been. =) been in the mood for a good ribeye.

I remember there being a table outside the range doors with a box and cardboard siting on them. I wonder where that was?

My new one. Remy 870 Tactical

Did 150rds thru it with some friends this weekend, 00 buck, #4 magnums, target, small game it ate everything. Only ghey thing is the front white dot fell out of the post before I even shot it! I still have to call Remington to warranty it. Prolly my favorite firearm now.

When I taught in PA and would buy a lot of ammo per order. (9mm, 40 s&w, 45, 223) I got good deals delivered right to my door from www.ammoman.com

The price you saw was delivered. A lot of places will kill you on shipping. Haven't ordered from him in awhile though but always bought from there when stumbled on their site.

No tacticool stock on my shotty Dave. Ive used them and while they do reduce recoil some, it is not a huge difference-this after tons of rds back to back vs min with the recoil cell pad. I like the traditional look homie....

Latest pic of the family I need to add something else very soon. If you havent read the book no weapons will save you
