Definitely not. They are legal in 37 States. I own a CL2 gunshop in VA and we sell a ton of them.

No it's not a real G36 as civilians cannot own them since they are Post 86 weapons. The G36 clone was made from a SL8 rifle. The "UMP" is also a clone and is made from a USC rifle. They are both semi auto only.

I know this is a little off topic, but I wanted to know what the 350Z gun crowd thought. I'm thinking of creating a compartment where the spare tire is to hold my hunting shot gun/ammo and other hunting things. For the most part so I can keep them out of sight and keep the honest people honest. Has anyone done this or have any ideas?

Thanks for any help!

I hear ya on that. That does suck. It took me 15-20mins to get mine yesterday.

So what'd ya buy if you don't mind me asking?

There was a couple members from this board we saw there...and quite a few local car guys...most of which were making purchases.

Very nice choice.

We all need to organize a day at the range like was previously discussed in this thread.

Blue Ridge is real close here and VERY reasonable so that's where myself and a few others frequent.

Which version?

I have a P229 SCT .40SW

I changed the factory short trigger to the standard trigger and its perfect for me now. The short trigger Sig now sells these guns with is for guys with smaller hands.

Short trigger

Standard trigger

Picked this up yesterday and ran 100rds thru her at lunch time. Feels awesome with the Pierce grip extension for the small 13rd mags.
