Default Air VS Price

I know this is probably an obvious question but anybody know of a good trust worthy place that sells Injen Dual Cold Air Intakes for the HR, and also K&N Air Filters for a good price?

Its time for my stock Z to get presents, lol, also my air filters are pretty dirty after 23k on it especially after the drive from CA.
Thanks

The thread title completely threw me off for some reason lol. Save your money and just get the K&N filters.

With the intakes you will loose power as proven on FunctionTuned's dyno.

But you'll gain a kick *** throaty sound!

Don't waste your money, I had a popcharger but had to sell it due to other mods. I should have learned from Keith's mistake with the supercharger but ohwell, I guess I'm hard headed.

aftermarket intakes systems + HR motors don't mix too well.

i have the Injen CAI on my HR, which i bought it off of here from a memeber and it sounds great and dont really know the performance gains on it, soon i should be getting it dyno'd....also i know A.H. has had some great gains off of it after a tune but before a tune it doesnt do much, just look and sounds....IMO if your planning on going turbo'd or supersharged later down the roadyou should buy the K&N filters or keep the stock intakes and save the money towards the FI. just my 2 cents.

I know you guys will ask for proof, but my friend in CA, got INJENS with a hp gain of 15, im out there for more power as like most, and I know intakes aren't the best for hp gains, but if I can actually get power with a nice sounding tone with it as well why not? RIGHT??
Thanks for everyone's replies

Did your friend dyno his car right before installing the intakes then dyno it again after installing the CIA? or did he use his butt dyno?

15? Doubt it. Will def need to see some proof to believe that. What other mods did he have?

Hey Keith do you know if this person was getting the Injen CAI installed? So far it is the only intake for the HR to have proven gains by more than one member. If it is any variant of a shortram then yes it definitely loses power which is why I removed mine and went back to stock.

Does not compute.

For an HR, there is NO WAY that there was a 15 hp gain with an intake only (unless there was something wrong with the stock intakes). People have spent thousands of dollars (up to but not including FI) who have not gained 15 hp at the wheels.

Get an exhaust. One of those baller style ones. Oh, btw, you are in my new youtube video djwatts. You can hear your take off up at skyline. Now if you had an exhaust, it would be twice as awesome.

Or you can get high flow cats...
My cats used to be like meow... Now they are like MEOWWWWW
