Arrow Double Dyno Video

Here it is!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXWtGiKwvcw

Same mods, same tune, but showing the difference between the heartbreaker at Function Tuned (Dyno Dynamics) and another kind of Dyno, (Dynapack Chassis Dyno at B&T Motorsports). Theres some other stuff on there too, the dynos start at about 1:25 with the dyno sheets following each clip.

I heard both of these actually read low, but Ive also heard that others read just super damn high for your ego and such (looking at you Dynojet...)

You will notice the Dynapacks pulls are way way way shorter. This is because there are no rollers to get up to speed or anything. I was in and out in 20 minutes after 4 pulls.

Here is someone elses dynojet vs dynapack comparison that shows a dynojet is consistently between 8 and 10 percent higher than a dynapack. So I guess I technically could have made higher numbers...

Good numbers how's the car feel? Also did you happen to see a black turbo neon coupe at B&T? I used to run around with him and some other people a few years back.

No wheels on my car would freak me out during pulls. It looks like a lot of movement when the pulls start.

Just confirms what the Mid-A already knew.... The DD at F:T makes grown men cry.

yea Dynapack dyno numbers are pretty low compare to other dyno. Did your tuner had the handbrake up when they did the dyno on Dynapack? Mine wasn't up all the way but like 1/4.

It's been my experience that dynapacks actually read a bit higher than dynojets, but they can be set-up differently. My car makes 8% more on a dynojet than on Dave's dyno.

wow, lots to reply to...

Polarbear - The car feels 100 times better after the tune dave did for me, even if there was only a 4 hp increase, I can feel that it pulls much harder and faster. I even got some extra mpg out of it!

Ice - My handbrake is pretty much shot, I need to get that fixed before my parked car rolls away or something. If it was up as high as possible and you could still probably move it if you gave it a good push.

03threefiftyz - I kinda want to go do a dynojet just to make me feel better about myself after going to Function. But running all over town just for dynos? I think two is enough for now, maybe after my next mod.

I agree, the only reason I put my car on a dynojet is because it is in a friends shop about a mile from my house. Plus, the dynojet makes it a bit easier for comparative purposes.

Hand brake is for the rears, how is this possible? It would ruin your brake right

is it an auto or manual?

not bad numbers.

question is though, can anyone ever just show videos of them doing dyno pulls without some story or background music? i'm confused why people do this.

First question, its manual.

Second Question, yes, Im sure that people can make dyno videos with out all the extra, but not me. Im a Dj/producer by hobby and I make all the music I put on my videos, just another way to help spread the word.

Dyno Dynamics = ReaL wheel horsepower, what you can see on the road everyday.
