Default Help! Car is vibrating

I took the car down to VIR this weekend fro circuitcross. Ran my session without a problem and drove home. Ive been on the road for nearly 2 hours and suddenly my car shakes like whn you go thru rough/unfinish road. The vibrating will go away during throttle and comes back during cruising. It is more noticable at hwy speed (60+). It feels like its coming from the rear. I eventually pull over to make sure its nothing retarded but did not find anything obvious. My first instinct tells me its Wheel bearings or driveshaft. Few other guys suggest carrier bearing, motor/trans mount, diff mount. I lso hear a light squeek when its cold but once warmed up its OK... it not sure if its related or not. I just need some idea for me to start looking...

Thanks guys let me know what you can come up with. HALLLPPP!

1. wheels not balanced properly
2. needs an alignment
3. or if it happens while braking, your rotors are warped...need to be turned

thats all i got for ya, other then the suggestions that you put out...not sure if im right though

1) wheel not balanced is possible maybe wheel weight came off but doubtful. I will check anyways just to eliminate that.
2) had alignment done before I took it to the track. Again maybe I somehow tweaked it while on the road course but why wait till Ive been on the road for 2 hours. Also really doesnt explain why it goes away during throttle.
3) Will check rotors again.

thanks for the input. Anybody else? What a way to ruin a good track day.

Sounds like driveshaft. When it starts vibrating, step on the clutch and see if it goes away, if it does, it's the driveshaft. Mine does it occasionally when I romp on it for awhile.

Mine did the same thing when I put the rear camber arms on due to the fact it wasn't alligned. It was only off a little bit but it made all the difference.

After an event like that, I suggest rebalancing your wheels.

definately not the lugs. Checked all that and it seems to be properly secured. I gonna get the wheel balanced. Seems to be heading that direction. Hopefully that will resolve it because I dont feel like demodding my car for the warranty from stealership

I found the problem and the people people that said lug nuts was partly right. It was my driverside rear spacer that was loose. It was actually quite scary that 4 out of 5 nut was finger tight.

Note to self: CHECK CHECK CHECK lug nut and spacer before and after every event. DUH!

Thanks everybody for the suggestions.
