20 minutes to Baltimore, 20 minutes to Annapolis, 30 minutes to DC, and 30 minutes to Calvert
As with most of the old crew, I don't get out much. I'm one of the few Redline guys around here =)

What is in King George??? (I only pass through there on my back way to Virginia Beach).
I have no problem hitting up Waldorf (grew up there) for goods, or as an alternative heading to Bowie or DC. Not so much VA, but every once in a while I hit up Pentagon City or something.
I used to live in Bowie. It was a great place but I don't miss it. I would also say that most of PG is practically SoMD, but it's not traditionally thought of as a part of it.
Calvert is the fastest growing county in the state, correct? I thought Charles ranked high on that list too.

We're looking to get a tiny, POS house with a crap load of land. Our goal is to pay off the land and POS house in 5-7 years. Tear that b!tch down and build a nice house.

If you're after the land, then go for it. You'll probably find a better deal on land in St. Marys though. I'm around Morganza every weekend hanging out with my girl and her family. It's close to work for you and you'll prob have one of the easiest commutes out of anyone in the Mid-A. It's also not far from MIR either. Lusby isn't bad either and it's closer to the Bay and the Patuxent River. I like it down in Solomons also. Go check out Catamarans Restaurant. Everyone usually gets pretty wasted there. Just remember if you ever need to go DC, BMORE, Naptown or anywhere else, then it's going to be a hike.
Btw, you'll want another sports car in no time living in MD.

Huh? You haven't been through Southern Maryland lately then. King George doesn't even compare. They are both far from eveything though.
