yes. Never dealt with those before. So I've been reading up.
Nope not long at all, we will have our student loans, cars, CC's etc paid off in 3 years. Tiny *** hood house and land paid off ~ 3 years after that.
Small sacrifice. It will be cheap to maintain too. I could reroof the house in a day or two with help. Plus we would have a crap load of land to *** around on for entertainment. His and hers dirt bikes FTW!
Can you get a DUI driving a dirt bike on your land?
We do too. It's "quaint".

Welcome to Southern Maryland. Somebody say something about shooting guns?
If you're after the land, then go for it. You'll probably find a better deal on land in St. Marys though. I'm around Morganza every weekend hanging out with my girl and her family. It's close to work for you and you'll prob have one of the easiest commutes out of anyone in the Mid-A. It's also not far from MIR either. Lusby isn't bad either and it's closer to the Bay and the Patuxent River. I like it down in Solomons also. Go check out Catamarans Restaurant. Everyone usually gets pretty wasted there. Just remember if you ever need to go DC, BMORE, Naptown or anywhere else, then it's going to be a hike.
Btw, you'll want another sports car in no time living in MD.

They are. Unfortunatley the crime in Waldorf has increased because of PG. There's big plans for Southern Maryland though. So hopefully everything works itself out.

I'm curious what the size of the current septic is compared to what you will need for your future house (or how many rooms now vs. rooms later). Sounds like you have time to research St. Mary's and the state's requirements if your project is 5 or so years out.
Figuring all that out, percolation tests (which can only be done certain times a year --- at least in Charles), and final design and sign off seemed like it took longer than actually building my house in Charles County. We did something similar, I tore down my father's old house (on 10 acres --- absolutely love the privacy) to build mine. The county rejected the existing septic system (too small and failing on the old house) and the land wouldn't pass a perc test. We had to put a mound system in. Headache at the time, but worth it in the end.
I say all that just to point out things to think about. Good luck and welcome to the area again.

Yeah, I'm just now learning about the "perc" tests. Every plot of land for sale in the area I'm looking has a passing perc test so I guess we will be ok. If not we'll do what you did.

Yea man this will be big if it does happen. On the company website it says it should be completed by 2011. The off road course would be great! Supposedly there's a technology park going in Indian Head and a few high rises are going to be built in Waldorf in an effort to "urbanize" it.
Off road? like for rally? Budds already covers motox and circle track.
Only thing I'm really in hopes for is moto GP/anything motorcycle wise other then drag.
I always hear VIR this VIR that

Actually I thought about you guys when we were looking at the house. The guy living there is renting month to month. He and his family have been there for 15 years, and whitey is taking his house.
wasis
I just hope to hear back from my agent today. I booked a hotel room for next week, but want a place to stay ASAP.
