Might be moving to V.Beach from FL soon...
So i might be coming up to Virginia Beach from Florida here shortly and was wondering if there any any meets or other active Z members up there. I dont know whats around VB or really anything about VA so let me know if there is anything that isnt to far.
You'll have lots of fun in VA, but southern VA and Northern VA don't hangout that often since it's a 4 hour hike. However, there are weekly meets in VA Beach area with great turnouts.
Welcome!! I've lived in Va Beach my whole life, so PM me if you have any questions!
As far as meets go, participation comes and goes. Usually we do alot of weekly informal "meets" if you wanna call it that, at the local hang out spots in the spring. But usually after the new warmness of spring wears off, the meets tend to thin out. There's more G "tightness" for lack of better words, then Z around here. So i usually end up hanging with those guys.
As said above, unless you are gonna keep your Florida plates and License, you are gonna have to get rid of that tint with a quikness! Esp if you plan on spending alot of time at the beach during the summer here. The cops have a boner for "un-approved equipment" tickets here.

Yea my tint is like 2% plus my entire front windshield is tined 45%. I will keep my tags as long as possible. Ok well let me know if there are any meets in the area. I might even take my moms G35 so either G or Z or anything really! Thanks.
When are you actually gonna be here? We have a mountain cruise coming up on the 4th of October!
Guess I should have looked in here a while ago.
This is a great chance to meet not only the local Hampton Roads drivers, but the NOVA drivers as well!! And have a great time doing it!!
Make yourself a screename on G35driver.com as well. There's a local thread somewhere on there that's usually alot more active for this specific area then on here.
im in va beach, just moved here back in december. i cant do alot of meet ups or cruises, wife and kids take up my free time but im sure after i get a few things done to the car i can get the wife to wanna go cruising and get a baby sitter.
PM me if you ever decide to get rid of your Stillen intake.
ill see what i can do with that cruise. since i just got back from deployment the ship will still be on stand down so i have a busy work schuedule once i get off of leave. im sure there will be plenty of stuff in the future to meet up with you guys. dont like to go to meets with a stock car.

Don't worry about being stock, no one will judge, it's a very mature crowd.
That's one hell of a stand down!! When i got back from the 8 month 9-11 deployment, we only got two weeks. TO make it worse, one week of that was spent loading weapons in case we had to leave again!!
Times have changed for the better i guess.

my 9/11 deployment was 6 months. we left the 18th after we got back from doing plane guard after the attacks. this last one was my 3rd deployment. always have gotten a month off, half the ship at a time. we arent off loading anything yet though, not for a few months.
